Commercial Painting

Residential Painting
Cabinetry / Woodworking click photo to enlarge	When we started in this 1940's kitchen, the cabinets were a dark, stained wood surface. The customer's desire was to bring a very modern look to her kitchen, without having to pay the cost of replacing the existing cabinets. An efficient preparation process, followed by a detailed application of a quality woodwork enamel, gave these cabinets a 1990's look for about 1/3 of the cost of new cabinets. This home on the right in Ada, Michigan has a beautiful view from its multi-level back deck. The home owners wanted to repair and protect the deck from further weather beating. After power washing the surface and replacing a few damaged deck boards, two coats of semi-transparent oil stain were applied to the entire deck surface. The metal railings and columns were coated with a metal clad paint.	Exterior Painting Click photo to enlarge
Private Residence click photo to enlarge	This 1970's home was in need of an exterior and interior face lift. We applied two coats of exterior latex to the entire exterior of the home and outdoor pool bathhouse. The interior of the home is made up of approximately 2000 square feet of tongue and groove pine walls, 50 window casings, 25 door casings, and several closets & built in shelving units. The woodwork in the kitchen included 15 sets of kitchen cabinets and 40 drawers. This 10 week project included an extensive process to prepare the woodwork. All of the woodwork was washed and pre-sanded and every crack and line on the walls was caulked. We then applied one coat of primer and two top coats of lacquer to all of the woodwork. The ceilings were sprayed with two coats of latex.


Western Michigan University
Western Michigan University is a highly respected college in Michigan. The traffic that flows through its buildings every year is shown very clearly by the wear on the wall surfaces. We took part in a major redecorating process on Western's Grand Rapids campus, in which we repainted several classrooms, elevators, and hallways to restore them back to their original condition.	click photo to enlarge

Heather Hills Retirement Village
click photo to enlarge	Heather Hills Retirement Village is a private pay elderly community located at the east end of Grand Rapids. Top Choice Painting & Restoration LLC. has been responsible for several different projects during a remodeling time at the village, which include painting the chapel and the entire Village Care Center. Our ongoing work with Heather Hills included apartment repaints and touch ups.
